Affiliate Member Education Award
Awarded to the Affiliate contributing to the education of its members with a technical meeting(s), conference(s), webinar(s), and/or workshop(s) pertinent to the interests of its membership with regard to food protection/safety.
Award Criteria
The Affiliate Member Education Award is given to the Affiliate contributing to the education of its members with a technical meeting(s), conference(s), webinar(s), and/or workshop(s) pertinent to the interests of its membership with regard to food protection/safety. The award consists of a mounted certificate.
Selection Method and Criteria
The selection committee will consist of the chair, past chair and secretary of the Affiliate Council. The committee will judge: 1) a submitted educational meeting program agenda and other supporting materials; 2) number of people attending educational meeting(s); and 3) a brief explanation (500 words or less) submitted on Attachment B of the Affiliate’s annual report of why the Affiliate deserves this award. Supporting materials could be a meeting flyer, brochure or other document(s) which includes background/objectives of program, target audience, presentation/activity titles, speakers’ names and employer affiliations, and/or brief biographic or presentation summaries. Please do not submit copies of entire Power Point slide presentations.
