Organized annually by the Food Safety Department of Dubai Municipality, our mission is to transform the global food safety ecosystem by fostering international collaboration to reduce the burden of foodborne illnesses.

For more than 18 years, DIFSC has successfully established itself as the leading global platform for exchanging experiences, knowledge, and groundbreaking innovations, all essential for improving food safety standards. We consistently attract a diverse, international audience of over 5000 delegates, representing regulators, food industry, universities and research organizations, laboratories, technology service providers, auditors, trainers and consultants. This event offers a unique and vital platform for knowledge exchange and the development of innovative solutions for safe and sustainable food systems.

DIFSC features a comprehensive program encompassing in-depth scientific sessions, specialized symposia, practical workshops, informative poster presentations, and special programs, all complemented by a focused exhibition. The success and expansive global reach of DIFSC are significantly enhanced by our strong, collaborative partnerships with key international bodies. We organize the conference in collaboration with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), International Association for Food Protection (IAFP), National Environmental Health Association (NEHA), International Federation of Environmental Health (IFEH), and the International Commission on Microbiological Specifications for Foods (ICMSF).
