IAFP's Latin American Symposium - Santos, SP, Brazil

Since 2008, the  International Association for Food Protection (IAFP)  has supported the  Latin American Symposium on Food Safety (IAFP Latino) . This event is organized every two years by scientific associations and societies from different Latin American countries, affiliated with the IAFP. During these events, issues related to food safety and quality are widely discussed by researchers, students, representatives of industries in the sector and government bodies, in an environment conducive to scientific updating, presentation of research results and innovative solutions for the sector. , in addition to interactions to form cooperation and networking networks.

IAFP Latino 2024 will be organized by the  Brazilian Association for Food Protection (BRAFP) , created in 2002 and the first Latin American affiliate of IAFP. IAFP Latino 2024 will take place in Santos, SP, between November 11th and 14th, 2024, with the theme: Challenges for the safety and quality of food produced and sold in Latin America. Participants will have the opportunity to propose round tables to compose the IAFP Latino 2024 program, in addition to presenting scientific work in technical sessions and poster sessions.
